- memory lane -
Mike & Jackie
Mike and Jackie produce a superior product and wanted their logo to visually set them apart from the rest. Using the bull symbolism in a unique and artful fashion, we capture both their commitment to sustainability and passion for fine culinary experiences.
In addition to creating an eye catching logo for Hook & Hang Biltong, we also wanted them to have an instantly recognizable graphic in the traditional cattle brand style. Needless to say, the double-H became an essential element in this branding project.
amy and jason
The McCarters reached out to us as they put into motion their dream of opening
a craft brewery. The result of our collaboration was a stylish and bold logo with organic flare. Quality craft beer represents the finest blending of nature's bounty with human ingenuity, resulting in thirst quenching nirvana when done right. These folks do it right!
Ross was one of our earliest clients and personified the entrepreneurial spirit we love working with. He wanted his logo to look old-fashioned and introduce the story behind Left Bank Butchery. His whole animal, sustainable, community based philosophy
of doing business rang true with us. Never compromising on quality and remaining true to his ideals has allowed Ross to thrive in the small riverside hamlet of Saxapahaw, NC.
We are honored to know him by name.

Peter Thorn Builders, a multi-talented design & build company, asked us to create their logo using the golden mean. Frank Lloyd Wright inspired this final design, which our client absolutely loved.
Sam reached out to us from the Pacific Northwest in need of a logo for her environmental tourism business. With her background in Ecology, Sam guides folks into the endless beauty of the San Juan Islands. Our goal was to couple the multifaceted imagery implied by the name into a single graphic, capturing the essence of what someone can expect to experience when adventuring with Field & Fern.
After becoming the only person ever to finish The Race To Alaska (R2AK) on a stand-up paddleboard, Karl set his sights on a truly epic solo adventure like no other. We aimed to produce a graphic which would creatively capture the magnitude of his epic journey. This gave us chills for multiple reasons. Brrrrr!
Jessica reached out to us as she began a
new adventure into the world of digital
marketing. A songbird taking flight seemed just the right imagery for how she will use her passion and creativity to help her clients
find their wings. With environmentalism being a central thread running through her life, this imagery is also a nod to the importance this plays personally as well as professionally.
Kellyann was referred to us by a past client and we could not have been happier with our collaboration. She had quite a clear vision of what type of imagery might capture the nature of her work in holistic medicine. We created an old fashioned looking graphic with both elements she was hoping to encorporate into just the right logo for her business.
ROCK & STEM
We are fortunate to live a few doors down from this magician and obliged when he came to us for a logo. Nathan wanted a simple yet artsy depiction of the man behind the curtain. Fermentation rules!
Dr. Jane Aronson
We wanted to create a fun and stylish t-shirt design with a clever nod to the amazing
work of Dr. Jane Aronson for this annual Worldwide Orphans gala. In bringing to life the work of this wonderful charity in words, we clearly convey the deeper meaning it has to those children whom are recipients of the aide it provides.
When Vanessa and Aaron asked us to create a custom birthday party invitation for their wonderful daughter, Aurora, we were honored to do so. At the time Aurora had received a special bicycle that allowed her to enjoy riding with her friends and family. Everyone had a blast!
The fine folks from Kruger Escapes Ski/Sail/Surf asked us to create an inspired and fun t-shirt design (front & back) for this epic beach clean up back in 2015. With a little help from their feathered friends and the Fab Four, everyone got the job done and had a lot of fun along the way!
Spots in this exceedingly popular summer camp go quick. We were happy to provide them with something cool for their campers to wear.
- the word on the street -
"Not only were Duncan and Meg fun to work with and lightning fast with turnaround, their branding of our business far surpassed our wildest expectations. We liked what they created so much, we had them also design our website, product packaging, brochures, and t-shirts. In addition, they helped us write copy and pass through the social media looking glass with platform set-up and integration. We can't recommend them enough but, if we're being completely honest, want to keep them all to ourselves."
-Mike & Jackie
"I had worked unsuccessfully with a few graphic designers prior to working with Meg and Duncan. They wound up being everything that I had been looking for- attentive listeners, creative, prompt, and without ego. And ultimately, very easy and fun to work with. We were so pleased with the design process, logo design, and the final physical products. And we've been told over and over how much folks like our logo and our signs!"
“So much of the work we do at Worldwide Orphans is about the importance of play and the resiliency of children no matter their circumstances. This year, we worked with the terrific team at High Street on the theme and design of our t-shirts for our annual gala – the t-shirts are important keepsakes for over 700 attendees who come to support us and an opportunity to share our brand and the power of our work with the world. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the result. High Street really “got us” – they gave us a playful, clever, poignant, powerful, and memorable design. And they even managed to capture my trademark blue glasses as part of the imagery! We were so pleased and touched. "
-Dr. Jane Aronson CEO & President, Worldwide Orphans
"Working with Meg and Duncan at High Street Design was exactly what I wanted in a logo creation experience. I had a vision but couldn't quite put it into words or design. They listened to what I was looking for, asked questions, and then used their creativity and expertise to bring to life an idea that perfectly fit what I was envisioning. They were timely, professional, and kept going until it was perfect. I highly recommend the High Street Team for your design needs!"
-Nathan Jorgensen aka The Kombuchanist
"I discovered High Street Design after "working with" two other graphic designers... who after months of waiting had yet to send me a single image. When I approached Meg & Duncan with my first project, they were immediately engaged, interested, and enthusiastic. Within days we had design options... and they were fantastic! Meg & Duncan are wonderful collaborators who listen to their clients while injecting their own incredible talent and experience. Since that first experience, I've worked with High Street for logo designs for two other companies. Every exchange is insightful, friendly, creative, and productive. When it comes to graphic design, I won't take any road but the High Street."
